Tamfobebre literally means my enemy will stew in his own juice. The symbol draws inspiration from A calabash placed in water. The harder a person tries to submerge it, the more the resistance the calabash puts in. For the Akan people this describes a picture of what their enemies will go through in the futile struggle to destroy them.
